For nearly four decades, the Zambia Association for Research and Development (ZARD) has stood at the forefront of gender and development work in Zambia.
Founded in 1984, ZARD is a non-governmental, non-profit, member-driven Gender and Development organization committed to advancing the status and standard of living of women through research, advocacy, and training.
Our work spans five districts, brings together over 100 researchers, and supports 9 women's groups — a testament to the women, researchers, partners, and communities who make our work possible.
